Smokeless Chulah

DSC07488 resizedWith the intent of alleviating the daily work stress and cooking efforts of rural women farmers and to enable them to spend more time on economic development, installation of smokeless chulah is implemented as part of MKSP project. The eligibility of the beneficiaries is evaluated by the CRPs and GF staff and they are required to contribute 25% of the total cost. Smokeless Chulah will serve as a tool for drudgery reduction improving the rural health conditions due to low indoor pollution. Under the MKSP program, 3000 rural women will be benefitted with the installation of the smokeless chulah – MKSP CRPs underwent onsite training on Smokeless Chulah construction. Each smokeless Chulah requires an hour for completion and will be ready for us in 5 days.
